No-bake Dessert Ideas For The New Year Bash

When you’re done cooking the main dishes and sides for the New Year party, you would be utterly relieved to make these no-bake desserts in a jiffy.  Just a few add-ons and some simple twists to your usual ice cream and cake and you could whip up these sweet delights.

Ice Cream Scramble

Coffee-cake Ice Cream

• coffee cake ice cream
• store-bought butter cake
• chopped pecans
 

Buy some coffee-cake ice cream, stir in crumbled store-bought cake and chopped pecans then refreeze for a nutty and fluffy ice cream.

Coco-Cinnamon Ice Cream

• cinnamon ice cream
• caramel syrup
• coconut milk
• grated orange zest
 

Scoop cinnamon ice cream onto cups, drizzle each with a mixture of caramel syrup and coconut milk, and then top with grated orange zest.

Fruity-nutty Ice Cream

• thinly sliced bananas
• slivered almonds
• cinnamon powder
• caramel sauce
• any flavor of ice cream
 

In a bowl, mix thinly-sliced bananas, slivered almonds, cinnamon and caramel sauce.  Use this yummy mixture as topping for any flavor of ice cream you have.

Easy Tiramisu

Mix softened cream cheese, whipped topping and sugar.  Scoop this mixture into waffle cones and top with fruit.

Spread lemon curd onto shortbread cookies and chill until set.  Sprinkle with powdered sugar before serving.
